Found it hard in school to reach Dad’s expectations

Never won a prize in sports that Mom wanted … to place on show shelf

As a teenager lost in love and lost whole world ….

No Newton laws stored in mind at junior college ….

Ordinary grades Ordinary performance of an Ordinary Individual so called me the LOSER!!

Luck laughed at my face and got admitted into engineering course …

By the time I understood that am running a wrong race I got my certificate in hand … calling me the intellectual to change this world …

It is not my story alone …. It is a story of many Students around!!

At least half of us know we ran a wrong race but we continue to run because we need to survive in this competitive world

We became deaf to hear our hearts and our hearts after these many years learnt to stay dumb ….

We pushed our limits to reside at a place where do not belong to because our Parents wanted us here …

I have enough bank balance … A wonderful duplex with lawn and swimming pool …. I buy the most luxurious car that enters the market every year … But I know I miss something beyond all this in my life that is being me ….

I loved to go for a ride on my bicycle to my friends house … I couldn’t

I loved to play tennis at my college lawn … I missed it

I loved walking in rain with my friends making fun … I didn’t

I was bound by restrictions and rules that everyone imposed on my heart that made it dumb!!

I am Dad now … Expecting my children to perform better than me…  Setting them goals for tomorrow … But the goals I set for them are not the same my Dad has set me ….

For I know the value of little pleasures in life I have set them free to Listen their Hearts … I don’t want my children to be Bill Gates of future to earn money but

I want to see them as Sachin who loves to play his game even at mid thirties … A MF Hussein who enjoys painting his art in Eighties …. I will set them free …

Free to fly with wings of Freedom to listen their HEARTS!!
